Transylvanian Highlands

ou may know it as the area of ​​villages with fortified churches in Transylvania, the cradle of Saxon culture in Romania. Others may know that here you can find UNESCO Heritage monuments (Biertan, Saschiz, Valea Viilor or Viscri) or that it is one of Prince Charles of Wales' favorite Romanian places.

It is certainly the largest protected area in Transylvania, where thousands of bird species nest, a region with High Nature Value Farms, with extremely varied biodiversity, where traditional agricultural practices are preserved.
